Built around one pose

Tamashii Nations has done something unusual here, and it is the reason this S.H.Figuarts Doctor Doom works. Rather than asking a standard articulated arm to fake a crossed-arm pose — which always reads wrong, with gaps at the elbow and hands floating off the chest — the set includes a dedicated pair of interchangeable crossed arms sculpted as a single correct shape. Swap them in and the silhouette is exactly right. Swap them out and you have full articulation back for everything else.

The cape does the rest

Internal wiring runs through the cloak so it holds a shape instead of hanging limp — flared mid-stride, or gathered and still. Measured at 16cm to the top of the hood, he stands taller than most of our Marvel figures and is built to be the piece the rest of the shelf faces.
