S.H.Figuarts Motoko Kusanagi – Ghost in the Shell 14cm Action Figure

S.H.Figuarts Motoko Kusanagi finally puts the Major on a collector’s shelf in a form that can actually do what she does. A cybernetic body is only interesting if it moves like one, and every Kusanagi figure before this has had to choose between the silhouette and the range.

Built to the S.H.Figuarts Motoko Kusanagi brief: articulation first

The joint structure is built around the poses she is known for — the low crouch, the flat horizontal dive, the braced two-handed firing stance. The hard-shell tactical panels across chest, shoulders and thighs are cut so the joints work under them rather than being smoothed over into a mannequin.

Both Seburos, and the visor

The Seburo M5 and the compact C-25 are both included, with a swappable holster so the one she is not holding still has somewhere to live. Four expression parts and four pairs of hands cover the range, and a separate bangs piece adds her visor without a second head.

On the shelf

14cm, and designed to be displayed with the Robot Spirits Fuchikoma from the same wave — the tank’s rear cockpit opens and she sits inside it. This is the first Ghost in the Shell piece we have carried, and it sits in roughly 1/12-scale collections.
