The chain running from his giant fan down to his side is real metal chain rather than moulded plastic, so it hangs and moves instead of locking into one shape. The robes around the legs are made in a soft material, which is what lets the hips and knees actually work underneath them — normally the limit on a long-coated figure. Three face parts cover the range from flat calm to open aggression, and the Wood Release wrist parts from the fight with Kakashi are in the box alongside five pairs of interchangeable hands.
On the shelf
At 15.5cm he lands on the standard S.H.Figuarts height, so he lines up cleanly across a Naruto shelf. The fan gives him a wide, unusual silhouette and he holds a low braced stance without a stand.
