The medallion and the sky around it
A ring of fine rays radiates out behind the couple like an old engraving, with Jack in his pinstripe suit and Sally beside him holding her flowers. The body is bone cream, the trim and base midnight blue, and the whole surface is scattered with crescent moons, small bats and stars. Curl of Jack’s hill and the spiral of Sally’s hair are picked out in line work rather than block colour, so it reads as illustration rather than print.
What it is like to carry
