The mithril and the Ring
The centre panel is worked in a fine silver mail texture that catches light differently from the fabric around it, and hanging on it, dead centre, is the One Ring on its chain in gold. It is the detail the whole bag is arranged around: coat, waistcoat and shirt all frame it, and the buttons run up either side to keep your eye going there.
Bigger than it looks
At 24 × 17 × 27cm this is one of the roomier minis, noticeably deeper than the 11cm standard. Zip main compartment, exterior side pockets, adjustable straps.
