Lord of the Rings Sting Sword is the elven blade Bilbo passes to Frodo in Rivendell, made in foam by Factory Entertainment for costume and convention use. It follows the shape of the screen-used Sting: the leaf-shaped blade, the curved crossguard and the ridged grip.
Lord of the Rings Sting Sword details
The replica measures 22 inches, about 56cm, from pommel to tip. It is made from soft, durable foam built around an internal support structure, which keeps the blade straight while leaving the whole piece light enough to carry through a long day at an event. The Elvish script along the blade and the flowing engraved lines above the guard are sculpted into the surface and finished in silver-grey, set against a dark hilt with raised ridges.
For Frodo cosplay and the wall at home
