The Hot Toys Spider-Man Brand New Day sixth scale figure catches him exactly there, and this is the Deluxe Version.

What the Deluxe Version adds

Three things the standard release does not have. A black beanie and a multi-coloured striped puffer vest — the winter layers Peter throws on over the suit when New York turns cold, and the reason this figure has a second display look entirely. And a battle-themed diorama base built from shattered brick and concrete, with the segmented tail of the Scorpion arcing overhead on a bendable wire and a pair of Boomerang’s blades buried in the rubble.

The masked head takes four pairs of interchangeable eye-pieces, so the squint, the shock and the deadpan are all yours to set. The body has been rebuilt for this release — bulkier, better proportioned, thirty points of articulation — under a tailored red and blue elastic fabric suit that holds a mid-air pose instead of fighting it. Ten hands cover fists, relaxed grips, open gestures, wall-crawling and web-shooting. The Web-Shooters attach magnetically to the forearms, and six spider-web effects, a mobile phone and the Key to the City of New York finish the kit.

At 28.5cm on a base that lifts him clear of the surface, he reads as a set piece rather than a shelf-filler — and he sits naturally alongside the rest of our sixth-scale Marvel line-up.
