Why the Hot Toys IG-11 is a different kind of build
There’s no fabric costume to hide behind here — the figure is all exposed engineering, and Hot Toys leant into it: a metallic grey-black finish with hand-applied weathering that reads as years of Outer Rim grime, a mechanical head with an LED light-up function behind the photoreceptors, and poseable grasper hands. More than 29 points of articulation include the party trick from the show — a waist that spins a full 360 degrees — so he can be staged mid-firefight, blasters covering both directions at once. The heavy blaster, blaster rifle and leather-like double ammo belt complete the loadout.
