The opening battlefield of T2 — plasma fire, crushed skulls, ranks of gleaming machines — is one of cinema’s great nightmares, and this Movie Masterpiece Diecast figure takes its Battle Damaged frame straight from it at roughly 31cm: the darkest centrepiece a Terminator collection can hold.

How the Hot Toys Endoskeleton earns the word diecast

The metallic skeleton is genuinely electroplated, then weathered and battle-scarred so the chrome reads as war-torn machinery rather than showroom shine — every hydraulic line, rib strut and servo of the newly developed frame visible because there’s no flesh to hide it. The skull runs LED-lit red eyes, the stare that outlived every timeline. Interchangeable chest plate, upper-arm and right-thigh plates let you strip it back to the regular undamaged look, and the plasma rifle drops into its hands for the classic advance. A skull-themed figure base supplies the crushed-cranium ground the machines walk on.

Display presence

Under a cabinet light the electroplating does something paint can’t — it moves as you do. Eyes lit, rifle levelled, standing on a floor of skulls: this is the shelf’s memento mori, and it outstares everything beside it.
